Under general supervision, deliver irrigation water, monitor and maintain water delivery systems, operate equipment, perform construction, and other assigned duties. Under direction of the District Engineer, the Engineering Technician assists with the District’s engineering activities and services. The Engineering Technician performs a variety of responsible technical engineering support work, including field surveys, collection and analysis of field data, preparation of technical drawings and maps, mapping and documentation of District property interests and infrastructure, organization of records, and helping the District meet legislative and environmental compliance requisites.
$56,854.51 – $80,000
Under the direction of the District Engineer and as specified in Employee Engagement Letter Paragraph 1, the Engineering Intern participates in and contributes to the District’s engineering, water resources and water operations activities; and assists with diverse field and office tasks that support monitoring, design, planning and organizational workflows.
$20-$30/HOUR, depending on experience
Providing complex administrative support to the General Manager, the District Engineer will be a leader and mentor capable of motivating their team. The District Engineer is knowledgeable of industry trends to plan for future uncertainties. They will provide key insights at the largest Sacramento Valley irrigation district, leading initiatives on CAPEX modernization, system automation, and conjunctive water use.
$140,000 – $190,000
